I have a vinyl covered greenhouse that includes a dual zippered doorway. One of the zippers quit working completely and the other had the “dreaded open in the middle zipper”. I ordered a zipper replacement kit from Amazon (I think it had 6 zipper pulls in it), and it was a nightmare getting them to go on and work. When I finally did get them attached, they stopped working in a matter of a couple of days.
I did more research and found the FixnZip and watched some videos. I thought about it several times over several days and then ordered it. When it arrived, I watched the videos again and went out to the greenhouse and installed it in about 30 seconds (it might have even been faster than that)…It installed easily and worked perfectly. The smoothness of the zipper is just a great feeling and no pulling apart. I’m getting ready to order another one so I can install it on the other side.
The other great thing that many haven’t mentioned is that if for some reason the item you have installed this zipper on is ever trashed or gotten rid of…this zipper is just unscrewed and ready to be used on another product!! YES, the zipper pull has been reinvented!!
UPDATE: I did in fact order a repair zipper from FixnZip and have since installed it. It’s been 2 weeks and the zippers are working just like new zippers. I’m very happy with results, and it’s nice to know that if I have any other items, be it coats, bags, luggage, etc. that I can fix them to be like new.
